DIES

The matrices are a fundamental part of the technological process of plastic forming. In Sermocol we produce several types of matrices, such as:

The matrices can be produced in:

The tools are produced according to the client’s drawing. The qualities of material and the ideal selection of the grade of carbide suitable for the application of the tool are guaranteed. In order to ensure a longer tool life and service life, specific coatings may be applied to the intended application.

Sermocol guarantees dimensional tolerances of ± 0.005mm and surface finishes with Ra≥0.06.

Closed Extrusion Dies

Closed extrusion dies are used in different applications and in various industries, such as the cold forging industry.

Open Extrusion Dies to dot

Open extrusion dies are used in different applications and in various industries, such as the cold forging industry, in particular for the execution of the screw joint.

Right Hole Dies

Right-bore dies are used in different applications and in various industries, such as the cold-forging industry, in particular for the wire calibration prior to bolt execution.

Matrices to ammunition

Sermocol produces matrices for ammunition for the ballistics industry by customer design.

Segmented Matrices

Segmented matrices are used daily in the cold stamping industry. The use of different segmented forms guarantees a greater ease in the implementation of air / oil outlets, reducing the internal pressure greatly. Sermocol produces several types of segmented matrices per customer drawing.

Punctures and Prints

Punches and forming patterns are used in the cold stamping industry. Sermocol produces punches made of steel or steel and / or hard metal and conforming or engraving patterns according to customer’s specification.

The qualities of material and the ideal selection of the grade of carbide suitable for the application of the tool are guaranteed. In order to ensure a longer tool life and service life, specific coatings may be applied to the intended application.

Dimensional tolerances of ± 0.005mm and surface finishes with Ra≥0.06 are guaranteed.

PUNCHES

The punches can be integrally executed in special steel, or by embedding process with different steels and / or grades of carbide. Geometrical and dimensional accuracy is critical for good tool performance.

PRINTS

Sermocol produces plastic forming prints and engraving engravings in special steels, for various industries, for customer’s drawing orders.

According to the experience and technology of Sermocol we advise:

Selection of steel with mechanical properties suitable for the application to the carcass and suitable section of special grades of carbide for a specific application. Implementation of air / oil outlets in parts to reduce internal pressure;
Finishing: Polished before and after coating;
Mounting: to ensure dimensional tolerances of 0.01 mm, assembly and execution and are guaranteed by Sermocol;
